Things I Liked – Spring & Scrapbooking !

Hello people ! I’m quite busy at the moment, planning my life & trying to work with what I’ve got now. Not always easy but…hey, c’est la vie.
Anyway, just saying this ‘cause I noticed I’m a little of a slow blogger… but let’s not talk about it anymore! let’s go see what I found around the web for you, & for me, during this loooong week past!

♥ I want to start with the Top of the Tops this week ! first of all, let’s go see the Top Post on Tumblr ! For a while I thought that my Honey Boo Boo/complete self appreciation post was going to win – but no! my followers are so into spring time, that of course they faved one of the prettiest floral dresses ever …too bad I can’t get to the real source, ‘cause I’d really love to know where this dress is from!

♥ secondly, the Most RePinned Pin on Pinterest ! well, of course ! again, a little touch of spring ..but still remembering that it is not really spring yet. I love yellow & black together, have I ever told you? so nice, good for every occasion.

This post on galadarling.com made me think of two of the things I really really love in life: inspirational notebooks & scrapbooking ! have you ever tried ? well, it doesn’t take much, but let me explain (of course, you could also go & enroll directly in the course offered by the above mentioned blogger, if you wish). I strongly believe that we all need inspiration, everyday, & almost every minute of our lives; sometimes we wake up extremely brilliant & full of ideas & motivation…but sometimes we don’t, right? there’s periods in my life when I never wake up happy. Yep. In all kinds of situations, I turn to my inspirational notebook, that’s what I do! I draw, I stick pictures, I cut out glittery paper & glue it to to the pages, I write down my thoughts & my weird night dreams …& the result is this wonderful, succulent, shiny & colourful notebook of my life! I love to go through it every now & then. Sometimes I cry, sometimes I take further inspiration to make something new. I think you can benefit of this, too!

♥ you may need some further inspiration for this, I presume…sure, sure, no problem! I’m not gonna leave you alone at the beginning of this journey! you can obviously find tons of ideas on Pinterest, but that can be quite messy (I suggest you pick a couple of boards you like, & follow them). But the easiest is to go along with the Wreck This Journal style…you know what I mean, right?! & this is exactly the meaning of an inspirational notebook…you open it, & do whatever your mind tells you to! the good thing is, you don’t need to follow anyone else’s directions to do it, & you can also pick your own fave notebook. I only follow a couple of simple “rules”, which I’m gonna give to you too, ‘cause they could be useful (in creating some of your own!): 1. stick to one journal style – meaning, I only buy a certain type of notebook, I know it may seem like I’m a maniac but…yeah, I kinda am. I don’t mind. I love Paperblanks. 2. cut anything that tickles my mind from magazines & coloured paper! you never know when it could be of inspiration. I cut out pics of shoes, places I like, clothes, flowers, words…anything I like. I keep them, & then I glue them on the pages when I feel like it. As simple as it sounds!
